The working theories, created laboratory models, and applications of various individual micromachining techniques are covered in "Introduction to Micromachining." It primarily focuses on two categories of micromachining processes: those used to size and shape microproducts and macroproducts, such as electrochemical micromachining, electrodischarge micromachining, laser beam micromachining, diamond turning, etc. The second category of u-machining consists of u-/nano-finishing methods that can be used to both u and macro products.
