Description
The lliad is an ancient Greek epic that tells the story of the final stage of the war between the city of Troy and the Greek forces led by King Agamemnon. It begins with Agamemnon kidnapping Chryseis, the daughter of Chryses, a priest of Apollo, as a war prize. Chryses pleads to Agamemnon to release his daughter.
