This book is in sequence with a train of thought which have been captured in some of my other writings, beginning 2018. That year, a book titled ?Lifelong Learning; seeking meaning, relevance and self-renewal? was published. It was widely and well received. Many thought, it broke new ground. The three key words of ?meaning?, ?relevance? and ?self-renewal? caught people?s attention. It was followed by a selective reflection, on management concerns in 2021 and the book was captioned ?Echoes?. That book too was a runaway success. In the meanwhile, I continued to write because I believe like many thinking persons, I have reactions to what I see, experience, and learn in life. This book ?You Are Not Alone? is a select set of my writings/ publications over the last ten years. It revolves around a simple theme of the commonality of many experiences. There are times when one loses perspective, because one?s experiences are severe, or one simply considers one?s experience as ?unique?. This may be only, partly, true. Similarly, one?s choice appear very special, (as indeed they are). Yet similar choices may have been exercised by others. Hence the thought that one is not alone. You are welcome to savour selections of 10 years of writing over 12 chapters populated by single pieces of text across a time space. This book is different but the experiences within it create a connection.
